Edward Rutherfurd is the author of fabulous novels, such as, The Forest, Sarum, Russka and London. I couldn't find the description for this novel which is really frustrating, but if it's anything like his others it's pretty safe to assume it's a novel about the history of New York and stories of people that lived through it. No, I'm not a psychic though I do play one on tv.
I'll have to keep an eye out for this one. I still remember being so entranced by Sarum when I was in high school that I bought Russka in hardback. Spending the babysitting money on a hardback was a mighty big deal. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOooh, I can't wait! I loved Sarum and London, and I'm always looking for good HF in New York, so I'm looking forward to this one.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I loved Sarum and London (though couldn't finish Russka). Still, I'll be very interested in this one - thanks for pointing it out! I wonder how far it will go up to in time, if it will be post 9/11 or not. Sounds like it should be a great book!
ReplyDeleteOh boy, I really love Edward Rutherfurd! YAY! I've read all of his books, would love to re-read them all, in fact. Thanks for this post, Amy!

ReplyDeleteI really liked London! I need to get my act together and read some of his other books.
