ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the beautiful pictures. The third one above is the wallpaper on my computer screen. The scene I just wrote takes place in that very courtyard. :)

Wow! Why are you not posting this on your Royal Cribs blog.. or am I missing something?
ReplyDeleteThe palace is huge...HUGE! No wonder why the monarchy went broke. I would love to be a fly on the wall in this place. Well, no I rather be royalty, but I'll get in any way I can. Great pics!
ReplyDeleteI LOVEEEEEE! I want to see these in person!
ReplyDeleteWOw! So beautiful. I need to add this to my list of places to visit.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! What I wouldn't give to have that library.
ReplyDeleteJosephine's bedroom looks almost understated compared to Napolean's and Marie Antoinette's, not to mention the other rooms.
ReplyDeleteOK. I'm feeling very nostalgic now. My family and I lived in Paris for many years and got to visit Fontainebleau numerous times. Words cannot describe the beauty! Every time we toured the castle, we found ourselves with our mouths open. I remember that when our boys got chickenpox at the same time, we took them to the forest to play where they would not be contagious to anyone and could burn up that energy. Thank you for the photos and the memories.
