I would love to join your challenge for Medieval books. I will easily be able to find that many or more on my to-read list.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited that you're hosting this challenge again as I missed out on it last year. Thanks Amy!
ReplyDeleteI'm in!!
ReplyDeleteJoined! Looking forward to reading a lot of historical fiction this year.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're hosting again this year, Amy. 2016 was a blast! I look forward to exploring more in 2017. I figure I'd play it light, set a number around the ancient history mark. See if I can't get some HF in centering around American history and historical fantasy, couple of subgenres I read a few in in 2016 that only whetted my appetite. Bring on 2017 and all the great HF choices from everyone! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this again, Amy. I'm signing up at the Prehistoric level.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to another year of excellent Historical fiction reading. I'm sure I'll be more than Victorian but I'm not sure I'll reach the Renaissance level - but I will certainly try! Thanks and I hope we'll all have a wonderful 2017.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this again. I am aiming for prehistoric, which I should hit as I read a lot of historical fiction. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteSigned up again this year - didnt do too well last year generally with my reading, so back on the wagon to try and do it again...I'm aiming for the Renaissance level but might get to Medieval if I pick by books carefully.
ReplyDeleteHi, here is my first review for the challenge. I read Victoria by Daisy Goodwin. My name is Rachel by the way. https://rbenton61.wordpress.com/2017/01/07/book-review-victoria-by-daisy-goodwin/
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteFantastic challenge, thanks so much for organising this.
ReplyDeleteI'm signing up as Renaissance Reader :-)
How do I join? The links does not work for me, I don't have an URL or whatever it is
ReplyDeleteThis is probably a really dumb question, but is this limited to only historical FICTION (along with historical romance, fantasy, etc), or can it include actual historical books, like, say, an historically factual book about the Wright Brothers or a biography of Winston Churchill or something?
ReplyDeleteHi Laura! Not a dumb question at all! Yes, you can link to Non-Fiction/History reviews as well! Thank you so much!
DeleteI want to join too. So exited to read some new historical books!
ReplyDeleteI linked 😁 Going to try for the Mediaeval level.
ReplyDeleteI want to join! So excited to add to the depth of my reading. :)
ReplyDeleteJoining the fray! I've already reviewed a couple of histfic novels this year, so now I'm starting to do it more officially :D
ReplyDeleteYay! Welcome, welcome, welcome! So happy to have all of you participating in the challenge!
DeleteI would like to join. I am doing a couple other challenges so will be a 20th century reader.
