I was actually skimming as I was finally going through more submissions and adding you to HereBeReviews.com, but I saw mention of Gabaldon and had to comment ... and then immediately looked like I hadn't even read your blog. Sorry, it's late here and I'm tired and shouldn't be commenting anywhere.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5552020989914140175.post-87042712399253684242008-11-28T00:25:00.000-05:002008-11-28T00:25:00.000-05:00I've read all of them (got them for Christmas last...I've read all of them (got them for Christmas last year, actually). There's one of them ... rrrr, and I forget which one but it was one of the last two ... that is "short stories" (which for Gabaldon means novellas) rather than a single novel. It was one of the last two though.

I was a bit surprised since I don't normally read short stories and I wasn't sure if I would have wanted it otherwise, but it ended up being a good read anyway.

...just went and checked my books and it's Hand of Devils that is the collection of short stories/novellas. I think there are three.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5552020989914140175.post-37385877369613376112008-11-27T00:18:00.000-05:002008-11-27T00:18:00.000-05:00I too have only read the first of the Lord John bo...I too have only read the first of the Lord John books. I really like her writing though, and once I find an author I like I usually read everything they have written if it's possible, so I'm sure I will read them someday.Alycehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10919057159829023714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5552020989914140175.post-35012434856920785502008-11-24T21:10:00.000-05:002008-11-24T21:10:00.000-05:00Maybe there is going to have to be some sort of du...Maybe there is going to have to be some sort of duel-off, because I am pretty sure that there are plenty of people around who would claim Jamie...including me!

I have read all of the LJ books. I didn't really like the first one, mainly because I thought the premise was a bit silly, but I have really enjoyed everything since then, including the stories in this book.Marghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13508430635744720721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5552020989914140175.post-51809435093285207492008-11-24T20:00:00.000-05:002008-11-24T20:00:00.000-05:00I've read all of them. I don't think it had anything to do with him being gay -- I think anybody other than Claire was just not acceptable!! Anyway, Lord John has grown on me a bit after reading the LJG novels.Lynn Irwin Stewarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11902088926070471878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5552020989914140175.post-45483701690998511572008-11-24T18:38:00.000-05:002008-11-24T18:38:00.000-05:00In the TBR pile.
