  1. Hallo, Hallo everyone,

April was a hard month for me, as I was struggling with migraines and coming out of March a month of bad health woes for me - you could say, I'm hardly surprised the month passed over me without reading too many stories. The most I could focus on were audiobooks but those were for Crime Dramas / Thrillers which were Contemporary set not Historically based. Therefore, May will mark my return to reading Historical story-lines and thus, I continue with my quest to read HistFic during 2018. Hope everyone else is having an easier year and enjoying the stories they are picking up to read. This first one was a hard-hitting one for me as it went a bit darker than I preferred (The Breedling and the Trickster).

  2. @Jorie - hope you're feeling better!

I've finally got a couple of historical fiction reviews coming up soon, I had a quiet month of April too and hoping to get a bit more read in May.

    1. @ Camille - Thank you for your lovely reply! :) I apologise I haven't had the chance to check back on the links being added til this week. :( Took me a long time to recover - both my stamina and just to feel like I was 'myself' again. On the reading front, I've been a bit slower to ease back into everything which is why this week in particular is my week to resume blogging and sharing the stories I've been finding. Most of the month will be focused on Fantasy Reads but I'm including several Historicals, too. :)

I look forward to following your own readerly adventures and visiting with you soon! I'm thankful I wasn't the only one who had a 'quiet' April!!

  3. Wow! A whole month and I didn't read even one historical fiction novel. I hope I can rectify that next month!
