Mailbox Monday

Another Monday, Another Mailbox!! This is a feature where we all share with each other the yummy books that showed up at our doors! WARNING: Mailbox Mondays can lead to extreme envy and GINORMOUS wishlists!!

Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia at The Printed Page.

I've only got one to share with you this week and it was one that picked up at Barnes & Noble.

by Jude Morgan

SYNOPSIS:  From an obscure country parsonage came three extraordinary sisters, who defied the outward bleakness of their lives to create the most brilliant literary work of their time. Now, in an astonishingly daring novel by the acclaimed Jude Morgan, the genius of the haunted Brontës is revealed and the sisters are brought to full, resplendent life: Emily, who turned from the world to the greater temptations of the imagination; gentle Anne, who suffered the harshest perception of the stifling life forced upon her; and the brilliant, uncompromising, and tormented Charlotte, who longed for both love and independence, and learned their ultimate price.

  2. One of the best books I've read this year - hope you enjoy it as much.
I do get mad with this name change - what have they done with Anne? It should have stayed as The Taste of Sorrow.

  4. I've got Morgan's Passion, and Symphony. This Bronte one is a reissue of the UK of The Taste of Sorrow, in case some are wondering. I hope it is awesome for you, I've heard only praise for Jude Morgan.

  10. I've been unable to keep up with the Bronte spin-offs. Let me know how you like it. I've read Jane Eyre and Jane Eyre's Daughter.
