Sourcebooks re-publishing The Morland Dynasty series!!!

WooHoo!  I just got confirmation that Sourcebooks will be re-publishing Cynthia Harrod-Eagles' The Morland Dynasty series!!!

Book One: The Founding will be released on April 1, 2010.  I love the new look and will definitely be collecting this series!

SYNOPSIS:  In the Morland Dynasty series, the majestic sweep of English history is richly and movingly portrayed through the fictional lives of the Morland family. It is 1434, and seeking power and prestige, ambitious Yorkshireman Edward Morland arranges a marriage between his meek son Robert and spirited Eleanor, young ward of the influential Beaufort family. Eleanor is appalled at being forced to marry a mere "sheep farmer;" she is, besides, secretly in love with Richard, Duke of York. Yet in time this apparently ill-matched union becomes both passionate and tender, the foundation of the Morland dynasty, and sustains them through bloody civil war which so often divides families, sets neighbor against neighbor, and brings tragedy close to home.

  1. I remember the books with great fondness -- I got as far as Annunciata before something getting in my way.

I always rather liked her take on Anne Boleyn.

    So I shall be collecting...

  13. This is my favorite HF series! I have read all 31 books and love them. They are quite an investment but oh so worth it! They are really excellent...I'm forever trying to convince others to read them...a US publisher will make that MUCH easier!
