As much as I love the Tudors, I wish they'd start re-releasing some of The Georgian or Queen Victoria series.
What about you? What Jean Plaidy book would you like to see re-released?
Now that I've started ordering Plaidy books from Book Depository, I'm going to have to be careful about these title changes!!

I was thinking the same thing about the title changes and the book depository.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see her independant titles released, i.e. the ones not in a series, like Daughter of Satan, Milady Charlotte, A Tryptych of Poisoners, The King's Adventurer, etc. Most of the others you can get from either Three Rivers Press or The Book Depository. Last year I ordered the entire Georgian series from Thrift Books for $2 per book! They are mostly ugly ex-library copies though.
ReplyDeleteHi Amy, such a beautiful cover! But I agree with you and wish they'd start releasing The Georgian series (I already have the Queen Victoria series in the UK covers).
ReplyDeleteI agree that they should re-release her other books instead of yet more Tudors. I don't think the publishers realize how burned out we all are!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited!!! I love her books :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up on title changes!
You are one of the bloggers that got me so psyched about Jean Plaidy that I bought several books by her plus her Victoria Holt's books but sadly I have yet to read any of them. I really need to get my stuff together and start reading her.
ReplyDeleteI cannot stand the Title changes. With like 70 books to keep track of, why do we need more confusion??! I have the original versions of those listed.. and I agree with Arleigh: they need to re-issue the stand alone novels that are already more obscure. I finally found a Madame Du Barry for less than $6 recently, but that was after looking for it for a few months.
ReplyDeleteTitle changes drive me crazy too. Anyway, glad to see these being re-released.
