  1. I've heard a lot of good things about The Concubine. I'm looking forward to seeing what you think!

  2. Meghan: I picked it up the other day, then Sharon Kay Penman talked about how it's THE book to read on Anne Boleyn - so I feel pretty good about my choice =) And don't worry all of you will be the first to know what I think!

  9. I had no idea that Faye Kellerman was also a historical fiction writer. That should be interesting to read.

  14. LOL at Beth F... I am not telling her where I live!!
And you have some awesome books there, can't wait for your reviews.
Especially the Jane Boelyn one, I still cannot decide if I should get it... so you'll have to do it for me.

  16. Absolutely don't bother with the Lady Rochford biography. Fox didn't have enough information on her to write a 50 page bio, much less a 300 page one. Which means most of it is rehashing of Anne Boleyn's and Katherine Howard's lives, with a sentence thrown in every once in a while that says "Lady Rochford might have witnessed this."
    Uggggggh.

  17. I always enjoy seeing what you get in your mailbox. The Concubine looks really interesting, as does Jane Boleyn.
